I wanted to start this blog with someone very special to me. So I thought why not start with one of my chaddi buddies and a bride whose wedding I recently attended and loved very much. I’ve known the bride and groom for many years and it is indeed every girl’s dream to be pretty on their special day. It’s even more special when you are a pretty girl named Pretty. And don’t we just love all things pretty? I guess that’s pretty enough puns for now. Went a tad bit overboard, didn’t I 😁?
Meet our gorgeous bride and groom, Pretty and Sachin. Now theirs is the classic fairy-tale romance come true. I have known these lovebirds personally for as long as they have been in love. I’ve had the pleasure to be the age-old side-kick in their story. I still remember our bride telling me how she wants a Cinderella wedding from back in college and trust me Cinderella it was indeed.
Our meticulously planned bride, Pretty had planned every aspect of her wedding much prior to the D-day. For her wedding, our bride wore a stunning custom made A-line gown which can be modified into a ball gown on demand. This beautiful gown by Mynamour Wedding Dress, Dubai features an illusion neckline embellished with Swarovski crystals and beads on the sheer fabric. The high boat neck accentuates the sweetheart neckline underneath.
This may seem like a tiny detail but the right belt can truly change the character of one’s gown. Lace wedding gowns are beautiful in their own right, however a little sparkle around your waist can truly transform the whole look and our brides done just that by choosing a handmade bridal sash made out of Swarovski crystals, pearls, and beads. To complete her dream dress, she chose an ivory cathedral length lace edge bridal veil and she was made into the princess she dreamed of by the talented Shalu George who by the way has magic on her fingertips.
The pretty combination of pink and white roses was a special request by the bride keeping in mind the fairy tale theme and was done by the talented folks at Ideal Dreams, Tiruvalla. And all of you DIY brides out there, are going to flip over this little number. These gorgeous glitter shoes were done by the bride and sister themselves.
To fit the bride, our groom was dressed to the nines and went all out in a dapper suit from Hangar-Atelier, Chennai. Sachin chose to wear, a black suit with a white shirt accompanied by a red tie which is a brilliant combination for a wedding. One can never just go wrong in a suit and doesn’t he just look sharp?
For the reception, our bride chose a very different pretty little number. She picked out this gorgeous net sari with a shimmer golden laced border and a peter pan jewel- embellished blouse from Shireen Shahana, Chennai. And their stunning wedding pictures are taken by the famous Magic Motion Media, Kochi
A special mention needs to be made on how elegantly the stage was done by Ideal Dreams, Tiruvalla. Pretty had specifically asked for a fairy tale theme and all-out they went. The floral backdrop was done using fresh white lilies and to add some sparkle they incorporated in fairy lights everywhere and our bride and groom on it to say their ‘I DO’S’ made it just about right.
