Perfect Skin. Find me one woman who does not want it đ? Now Iâm not sure if the expression âshe looks like she swallowed a light bulbâ is a thing but if it isnât it needs to be made one đĄ. This stunner is someone whoâs gorgeous in and out with the most dazzling natural glow Iâve ever seen đ. Youâll probably get tired of how much Iâm going to be talking about her glow but good skin needs to be appreciated and spoken about so đ.
Meet our stunner and her dashing man, Swetha and Sanjay. Our meticulously planned bride is not only beauty with brains but also extremely articulate with her thoughts. I absolutely love it when brides are clear cut and know what they want. Wedding planning is a task, which is rather daunting and it is often difficult not to be overwhelmed by the pressure. So planning ahead of time with a clear mind is imperative.
For the engagement, our bride started out by choosing her jewellery first and then her ensemble. Now this is dilemma many brides face often. What comes first đ€? Your bridal jewellery or your bridal attire? Now there are several opinions as to how to go about this daunting process. Some brides would go picking their jewellery first, others the ensemble first .I personally feel the way to go about it, is your way. You do you is how Iâd put it đ€.
Swetha paired her uncut rubies and gold chunky necklace and drop earrings  from AGP Jewellers, Kochi with this rich coral pink and gold kancheepuram silk sari from Kalyan Silks, Kochi. The emphasis here is on the stunning accessories and hence the sari was kept slightly understated to let the jewellery shine.
Her gorgeous makeup and her side swept cascading curls đ are courtesy of the ever famous Priya Abhishek Joseph, Kochi. Our bride could not stop raving about this talented MUA and it is easy to see why.
Our handsome groom picked out this deep blue custom made Jodhpuri jacket from Tailor Made Fashion Studio, Kochi  in a blue and golden palette with matching trousers and shoes.
The beauty is in the details and people always appreciate anyone who pays attention to detail. Our bride clearly had a vision in mind with the stage dĂ©cor which was beautifully executed by Maxwell George. Swetha envisioned a jute backdrop, fairy lights, and also wanted a specific fern wall behind them – allowing them and the whole dĂ©cor to pop. Quite smart, donât you think so but then again she does work in the corporate field, so attention to detail is expected đ.
Our bride also had the entrance to the engagement venue bedazzled up with these light bulb hangings along with a rustic chalkboard easel stand. Quite the pinterest photo indeed â€ïž.
For her wedding eve, our luminous bride chose to wear a stunning white and gold benarasi georgette anarkali embellished  all over with gopi shaped mottifs from Tailor Bird, Kochi which was paired up with these stunning pearl Jhumkas .Incidentally, Swetha mentioned to me how initially this ensemble was to be turned into a sari but on realizing how much dancing the pre wedding day would involve, she chose to up her game and dance away in an anarkali ensemble- more easy to sway and move around đ. Smart thinkingâs , indeed đ€©. And her lovely updo was done at Sajith & Sujith, Kochi.
For the wedding, our bride was a vision in gold. It is this sari that compelled me to reach out to this stunner and youâll see why as you read on. Swetha was certain on having a golden sari rather than the traditional white and I think it paid off knowing what you want đ. She chose this gorgeous kancheepuram tissue silk sari from Milan Design, Kochi .The color of this 6 yards is so unique that it looks silver under some lights and golden under others. That is quite a difficult color to put down to.
Swetha decided to keep the sari plain to let it shine but chose to get her blouse worked with a blend of cutwork, gold zardosi and beads. The stunning work on the sleeves and on the back was done by Label M, Kochi. (Psst, check out that captivating ink-ing on her nape â€ïž)
And our stunner chose to complete her ensemble with these gorgeous reversible jewellery from AGP Jewellers, Kochi . A special mention also needs to go to Swethaâs stunning wedding bouquet which is a blend of pink liliums, white roses and ivy done again on a special request by the talented Maxwell George.
Another significant detail of her big day is all that glow you see on Swetha is just her natural glow doing its magic. Our bride has sensitive skin which doesnât respond well to makeup so what you see is a foundation free bride (rarity indeed). All Swetha has on her radiant face is some kohl, falsies and a hint of blush and lipstick. Everything else you see is just her natural beauty đ. Swetha had mentioned to me how Priya Abhishek Joseph, Kochi is all about âkeeping skin looking like skinâ and that precisely is what we see. So for brides, who want to look like the most beautiful version of themselves â not an overdone bridal version of yourself, you know who to be calling đĄ.
A definite mention needs to be made to the intricate crown braid and swirled updo our bride is sporting. It isnât often I get to see a bride without the usual swept back or side parted hairdo. The entire look was also amped up with these gorgeous handmade jeweled pins made by Priya herself.
And not to forget our handsome groom who chose to go all classic in a grey three piece suit from Louis Phillipe,Kochi.I love that the grey suit has a bit of sheen to it and it bounces just enough light to make it pop. It is a bolder move when compared with the matte alternatives but if youâre tempted to dabble in a bit of sheen and metallics, always go with the more understated look rather than a full-on disco ball. Our groom scores on the groom-o-meter for taking that thought into consideration đ.
Now their wedding stage dĂ©cor by Siju of Lovely DĂ©cor(+91 934 987 0007) looked right out of a fairy tale. Muted elegance seems to be the king/queen(gender equality đ) of stage decors. I love how elegant the stage looks with its jute backdrop and fairy-lights and minimalistic flowers. I truly think fairy lights need to be made compulsory at every wedding đ. I personally also love the addition of mirrors and vases filled with babyâs breath đ.
For the reception, our dazzler changed into a hot pink kancheepuram silk saree with golden zeri work and motifs from Jayalakshmi, Kochi and the entire ensemble was tied up with these gorgeous statement jewellery from Tanishq,Kochi and AGP Jewellers, Kochi.
And all these lovely photos for both the wedding and engagement were captured by Prem Vision Wedding Studio,Kochi and Hari Lal. Pro tip from this smart bride herself– Hari Lal was provided beforehand the pictures of close friends and family who Swetha wanted specifically to be captured. This way he knew who to look out for and she got her memories for a lifetime snapped đ·.
And random couple fact for all my readers who love themselves a solid love story . Theirs is a love story thatâs been going strong for more than a decade đ. Let send some love and many more years of togetherness their way â€ïž.
And as always, if you have any questions for me regarding this post or otherwise, you know what to do đ . Donât forget to show us some love on our Instagram handle  @epokalyanam and Facebook page @epokalyanam.theblog. Psst, by doing so youâll be absolutely making my day  đ.
