Riddhi & Noel

Weddings are truly my thing. If you ever see a woman, just standing and staring at the décor and the ensembles and the bridesmaids and not to forget the bride and the groom (basically the wedding 😄) with a star struck expression, that for sure is INDEED ME 🤩. And that also is how I look when I look at wedding pictures too. Star struck and just admiring the bride in all her glory 😁.

I came across this stunning couple on social media and to my much delight, I have two weddings to share and write about . This wedding is dear to me for many reasons. When I came across their wedding, it reminded me so much of this widely quoted quote ‘Now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love’. And a true reminder that love truly does conquer all ❤️.

Meet our stunning bride and groom, Riddhi and Noel. Incidentally, our bride is also a footballer for the Karnataka team.  I truly love meeting woman breaking all stereotypes. Take that everyone who said woman can’t play sports. Karate chops on all of you 🙅‍♀️. Our groom too is also mad over sports and works in the sports sphere himself and let’s say their love blossomed right from there 😍.

For their Christian wedding, our bride was a vision in white. And may I also say, a very smart thinking vision too 😊. Riddhi had mentioned to me how she chose and wanted to have a simple but elegant wedding. She chose to wear a beautiful elegant sheer illusion A-line tulle skirt wedding gown designed and done by her friend Shruthi Savanth. The barely there illusion neckline makes it look as if the stunning embroidery is part of your skin. This dress is ideal if you’re looking for a long sleeved wedding dress but still want to show an alluring flash of skin.

When it comes to picking your wedding jewellery, there is no solid rule but there is one commandment that I swear by and you’ll see why. ‘ Thou should not go overboard’ 😄. No matter how tempting it is to load up on baubles and bling, you don’t want to risk letting your accessories outshine you. Keep less is more as your motto and it truly shows on our bride. Choosing to wear a simple studded one layer necklace from Kushals, Banglore , Riddhi ensured all eyes were on her.

My most favorite aspect of the wedding ensemble is the smart thought behind the wedding veil. Remember, veils are an accessory to your wedding dress and are not a part of your dress so they are customable. The veil design and length should depend on your wedding gown. Our stunner, chose to wear a simple one layer veil allowing her to show off the elegant lace applique detailing scattered all over the dress. Quite smart, don’t you think so 😍?

Her gorgeous dewy makeup and hair was done by the talented Anurita Chandrappa,Bangalore . I also personally love that she chose red flowers as her bouquet. Look at how that blood red bouquet just pops against her white wedding gown ❤️?

Our handsome groom was dressed to the nines himself. Noel chose to deck himself up in a sharp black tux, classic pleated shirt from  PN Rao,Bangalore (which I  love & don’t get to see a lot on grooms 😍) . Our groom scores on the groom-o-meter for that and for the pop of color with the red bow tie 😎

For their temple wedding, we have both our stunners looking like a dream. Riddhi, chose to shine in a gorgeous pink kancheepuram sari with golden zari work and green worked border on the edges. The highlight of this look truly comes from how minimalistically she’s chosen to go with her accessories.

Her lovely fresh and almost skin like makeup was done again by the talented Anurita Chandrappa,Bangalore. And no South Indian wedding is complete without the addition of jasmine flowers to the hair. Doesn’t it just add to her beauty ❤️? And look at that gorgeous hair do. Twist on a twist indeed (word play alert 😎.)

Our dapper Malayali boy was all geared up in the true South Indian groom style. Noel chose to complement our bride in a subtle and elegant manner by opting for a simple crisp white shirt along with the traditional white dhoti.

And to celebrate their love, a wedding reception was held after their big days for all their friends and family. And honestly, this is one wedding where I can’t seem to pick my favorite outfit. For the after party, Riddhi chose to dazzle in this gorgeous navy blue gown with a nude bodice embellished with cut beads designed again by Shruthi Savanth. The whole look was put together with these stunning chocker necklace and drop earrings .

Noel was all dapper-ed up in a deep blue velvet bandhgala from PN Rao,Bangalore  . I personally love the contrast of colors in his ensemble. And their stunning pictures need a definite mention and were captured by the famous Lumiere Wedding Company, Kochi.

Random fact, I love weddings and love stories and I get super excited and moved when I know a couple has been together for years. If it’s one thing being married has taught me (ONE of many 😉), it’s that a great relationship/marriage does not happen by accident or by luck. It truly is the result of consistent investment of time, thoughtfulness, forgiveness (let’s not forget that one 😋) and ROCK SOLID COMMITMENT between two people. And most importantly these two love birds have shown us that marriage is not and never about religion. It is ALWAYS about LOVE. Let’s wish them a lifetime of happiness and love their way, shall we 😘?
